Yesterday was our 6 month anniversary. We celebrated on Friday night by going on a surprise date (Chad surprised me by taking me to dinner instead of home after work--very fun:) ), which included sushi (doctor said it was okay as long as it's not more than twice a week), a movie, and ice cream afterward. Chad is really good at remembering things. We had a great time getting out of the house and just getting away.

We spent the day in Brigham City yesterday doing several things (bridal shower, visiting my Grandma, birthday party, etc), so needless to say I'm exhausted after such an eventful weekend, but it was fun! :)

Surprises are good....as long as it's not the boogy man standing behind a dark doorway. Sounds like you had fun. Sushi! Mmmmmmm! I rarely get sushi. What movie? What flavor ice cream?

We watched Horton Meets a Who at the dollar theater (cute movie, some definite "filler" parts though that made us laugh), and we had prailines and caramel and raspberry swirl something or other ice cream at the Creamery on 9th. :)

After the party was over, Jacob waited until Brigham and I were busy getting kids out the door and then grabbed a big handful of cake. From the trail of cake crumbs and frosting, we gathered that he ran across the living room with it, stopped and wiped a hand on the couch, and we found him licking crumbs off of his hand while sitting on the Love Sac. Unfortunately, it was decorator's icing-- meaning it was half butter and shortning. What a mess! You'd think he hadn't almost thrown up from eating too much cake only a half an hour before!
