MICHAEL PHELPS - They say he is going to come back to Baltimore with $30,000,000.00 to start with in I would guess businesses that will pay to use his name....I will be he will suddenly have MANY more"friends" than he did before! I am not sure I would like that much fame as he now has.

In the interview I saw, he said he was picked on a lot when he was a kid. Kids would throw his hat out the bus window, flip his ears, etc. etc. all the time. He said that he checked his Facebook account and all these people that tormented him in school are now acting like they are long lost best buddies.

I saw that interview. Kind of funny. I know he and his coach bought a swimming pool in Baltimore. He plans to help teach kids how to be great swimmers too. It's crazy how much these athletes (from all different countries as well) get from endorsements. He's got his life made! But it took a lot of hard work. I'm proud of him.

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
