HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD!!!!! So....what fun are you having for your birthday? For everyone's information, Chad is out of town today so we're celebrating this Sunday afternoon at our house. BTW, you are OLD now son. Not as old as Christa, but old none the less.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD, MY BOY!!! yes, ya'll are invited to come to Chad's birthday dinner this Sunday, where we will be having apple ppie as the main course! Let's eat at 5 pm! Come one, and all! Bringing sweet young girls as a gift to Chad are acceptable.

I am in California, but no I didn't get to go see Cambrie today, nor do I think I'll be able to. We're behind schedule here, and the people here want us to do more than they originally told us. We're just trying to get done what we need to, in order to make our flight out Friday evening.

Today I worked a lot. Had some outstanding mexican food. I don't know what it was - I picked it semi-randomly from the menu since I couldn't understand what half the things were. But it was good.

It was at a place called "Cosy Mels", and I had the Pollo Poblano. Way good. I don't know if it's a chain or not.

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
