The Mountain!

What a fun overnight outing at the mountain! Sorry I didn't get pictures of everyone who was there, but here is what I have. We had a GREAT time. Emmy was asleep before we even got down the mountain (like before we even got to the main road). Poor thing! But we think she's back on schedule now.

We missed you, Cambrie and Fam (and Buffy too, of course)!

Fun pictures. I had a great time with everyone. I must say, the long goodbye hug Emmy gave me was one of the most satisfying moments in my life. To have a little granddaughter that's just learning to say "Gramps" give me such a long tight hug was heartwarming. What a beautiful, precious child. I'm glad we're going to grow up together to be buds. :-)

After the party was over, Jacob waited until Brigham and I were busy getting kids out the door and then grabbed a big handful of cake. From the trail of cake crumbs and frosting, we gathered that he ran across the living room with it, stopped and wiped a hand on the couch, and we found him licking crumbs off of his hand while sitting on the Love Sac. Unfortunately, it was decorator's icing-- meaning it was half butter and shortning. What a mess! You'd think he hadn't almost thrown up from eating too much cake only a half an hour before!
