I just want to urge everyone to get their food storage soon. For RS/Priesthood combined meeting on Sunday, our Bishop talked about the Apocrypha. It got me interested. Anyways, I was reading in Maccabees last night, and WOW! It describes our day so well. The end is right around the corner. In addition to the wheat prices being high, we found out that Rice is going to go up 5x within the year. This is not good. Get your food storage soon!

Good advice Chad. We've decided to fill all our spare rooms with wheat and rice. It was a hard job but we have all but our kitchen area filled to within 3 feet of the ceiling. If you are planning a visit, you can still come as we can put you up in the trailer and little kids can still just sleep out on the trampoline in the back yard. I bought an uzi to protect our food when the disaster hits and the neighbors start getting hungry.

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
