Welcome home to all of you! I hope that the adjustment back to common life isn't too hard after a week's dream vacation at the Dastrups'. We just wanted to thank you all for coming and for all of your help while you were here. It was a lot of fun, and we miss you all! Hopefully it won't be too long before we can do it again.

PS-- Have fun on your hot date tonight, Buff! We expect some pictures by tomorrow evening!

Thank you Dastrups! It was hard to leave the Benjamin, Jacob, & Kiera.

We'll have to do it again sometime. Maybe when I get a house, we can do it there.

Dear Dastrups: Thank you SO much for putting up with us for a week! I know how hard that is to have your space invaded and schedule thrown to the wind and HUGE meals to cook and travel to coordinate and heard slugs. THANK YOU. It was great. Lots of memories were made there. Too bad Brigham had a funeral at the same time...wish it wasn't so, but it was. He was a trooper at the zoo the next day though!

Yes, thank you thank you!!! You guys are quite the gracious host and hostess. Brett came come yesterday, and moved into his new apt. He came back today for most of the rest of it...really turning the world over. I came home feeling run over. But it was great to see ya'll!

Thankyou thankyou! It was really fun! And unfortunatly, the date didn't really happen. Either he forgot about it or just choose not to come because around the time he said he'd get off, I called twice and he didn't answer. Eventually, we just left without him but as we were going down the stairs, there he was going into another girls' apt. I woundn't have really minded if he hadn't given a commitment but as it is, i'm not interested in him anymore.

After the party was over, Jacob waited until Brigham and I were busy getting kids out the door and then grabbed a big handful of cake. From the trail of cake crumbs and frosting, we gathered that he ran across the living room with it, stopped and wiped a hand on the couch, and we found him licking crumbs off of his hand while sitting on the Love Sac. Unfortunately, it was decorator's icing-- meaning it was half butter and shortning. What a mess! You'd think he hadn't almost thrown up from eating too much cake only a half an hour before!
