It rained really hard around here yesterday. Kiera had so much fun when I let her play in the rain in the morning. Then in rained again in the evening and she REALLY wanted to go play in the rain again (see video on Nelson Blog). other 2 pictures are just cute pictures of my little lady

Cute video! I loved her little squeeling and how she tried to get Steve to step into the water before her. That looks like quite a rain storm! Nice pics too.

Not very often chad. But it looks like it rained really well! What a fun and darling video of that cute little lady!!! And how very much fun you having being Kiera's mommy! It is tragic that all children don't have the benefits of mothers like Cambrie and Christa are. I am sure ERica will be just as great too! Makes me happy all over to see the wonderful way you girls are being moms!

It doesn't rain much most of the year, but springtime is the "rainy season" where we usually get more than average rain.

Interesting fact: in the neighborhoods of the foothills of california (like where steve's parents live) they design the roads to become rivers when it rains. I've seen roads with at least 1 foot deep water in the middle of the road when it pours in those areas.

After the party was over, Jacob waited until Brigham and I were busy getting kids out the door and then grabbed a big handful of cake. From the trail of cake crumbs and frosting, we gathered that he ran across the living room with it, stopped and wiped a hand on the couch, and we found him licking crumbs off of his hand while sitting on the Love Sac. Unfortunately, it was decorator's icing-- meaning it was half butter and shortning. What a mess! You'd think he hadn't almost thrown up from eating too much cake only a half an hour before!
