Since I doubt that Chad and Erica are going to want to spend much time with us after their wedding, I propose that we have a family Christmas party the night of the 12th or 13th. We could have our present exchange, do a white elephant, maybe a pinata, the Nativity, eat a lot of unhealthy foods, and have a fantastic time together before the little love birds fly the coop. Opinions?

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

I frown on doing something the night immediately before my wedding. I think there will be some last minute things that need to be done, and I'll want to get to bed early that night. The next day is kind of a big day for me.
Why is this tradition changing when I get married? Don't you want me as the guest of honor?
I'm offended now. I don't think I'll come.
