Dastrup Update

Just when you think we may have actually fallen off the planet, I prove otherwise. Without Mom here it may have been several more months before I felt that I had enough time for something like this, so thanks, Mom!

Brigham: has just finished taking step 3 of the boards. Whew!

Christa: feels a little more human, thanks to Mom. Is still struggling to get back into shape and her pre-pregnancy pants. Managed to break Brigham's big screen TV today while trying to save his life.

Benjamin: finished off the soccer season last Saturday, taking pride in the fact that his team didn't loose all their games-- they did win one 3 weeks ago. Had his eyes checked for the first time today and is excited to wear the glasses that his parents were shocked to discover that he needs

Jacob: is recovering from his nasty sickness. Is still determined to join a nudist colony and chew through all electrical cords in the house.!



Ty: will be 3 months old on Friday! Is very cute and smiley, and has begun to laugh within the last week or so. Is finally starting to sleep a little better at night-- will start off with a 3-4 hour block and will sometimes do another 3 hour block. (HALLELUJAH!!) Had phenylalenine (sp?) levels that were too high on his last blood check, so had to repeat the blood test. Results are still pending...

Is that the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker I see in that tub? Define: "Managed to break Brigham's big screen TV today while trying to save his life." Inquiring minds want to know the rest of the story. What a cute smile from Ty!! Good job. Also when does Brigham know the results of his boards? And when do you know the results of Ty's blood test? I know...I know....20 questions.

Fun update! I can't believe Jacob's talent for undressing himself-- Kiera can't even figure out how to get a single article of clothing off.
I love Ty's smile.
Benjamin looks like he has big plans for those eggs.

After the party was over, Jacob waited until Brigham and I were busy getting kids out the door and then grabbed a big handful of cake. From the trail of cake crumbs and frosting, we gathered that he ran across the living room with it, stopped and wiped a hand on the couch, and we found him licking crumbs off of his hand while sitting on the Love Sac. Unfortunately, it was decorator's icing-- meaning it was half butter and shortning. What a mess! You'd think he hadn't almost thrown up from eating too much cake only a half an hour before!
