Well, our little one is well on her way to being an olympian. Yesterday she rolled over from her back to her stomach independently. At this rate she'll be walking by the time we come to Utah! Speaking of coming to Utah, Nelsons will officially be in Utah from Dec 17th to the 23rd but steve will be working via the internet every day but the 22nd and 23rd. He has to work 10 hours every day but he can pick the hours.

When are you planning your first family hike?.... As for Steve working on the internet, what does he need? Does he have a laptop with a wireless card or does he need to use one of our computers? I'm thinking we may need to rethink sleeping arrangements if he needs our computer room 10 hours a day...but it's not a problem.

They have provided me with a laptop so all I would need are internet connections. I'll check to see if my laptop has a wireless connection

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
