A short story by Chad Groneman
One day Chad woke up and got on a plane. His ticket was with Alaska Airlines, but he got on a Delta plane. The Delta plane took him to Portland and told him to get on a Horizon plane to get to his final destination: Bend, Oregon. Chad found where the Horizon plane should be, but they moved it. So he went there. But they moved it again. So he followed it. But then mother nature intervened and because of the snow the plane couldn't land, so it was cancelled. The Horizon people wanted our hero to take a flight the next day. But that didn't work for Chad, so they had him take a United plane to his final destination. Chad arrived at his destination to find that his baggage did not come out of the magical baggage materializing device. He questioned why the magic wasn't working, and was told his baggage was lost. Nobody knew where to find it. They looked over, under, and through; but it was not to be found. Chad used his wireless communicator several hours later to find out that Alaska Airlines had his luggage, in Portland. He exercised his will power for the baggage to come on the next flight to Bend so he didn't have to sleep in his clothes and have bad breath in the morning.

Tune in next time for our exciting conclusion!

This is indeed riveting, what will become of our hero? When will the next episode be posted? Based on recent performance by this writer, we may have to wonder about Chad's breath until 2008.

The conclusion of the story:

Chad called the Airport and learned that his luggage was coming in on the next flight from Portland. He dashed to the airport and arrived to find that the plane was delayed, and hadn't left Portland yet. He patiently waited until 11:00, when the plane finally arrived. Chad watched the baggage carousel anxiously for his luggage. Slowly, those around him found their luggage and disappeared. He was left alone.

He approached the counter and asked where his luggage might be. After much searching, they told him that somehow it didn't get put on the plane, and was still sitting in Portland. They told him the luggage would arrive the next day on the first flight from Portland, but that left Chad with no things.

Chad went back to his hotel and asked them for a comb, a toothbrush, and some toothpaste, which they gave him.

Since Chad is scheduled to fly out today, he will go claim his luggage just in time to check it in again for his flight home. Hopefully he gets it, because he's scheduled for another flight tomorrow to Chicago.

Who needs made-for-TV movies when we have this kind of entertainment?!? Maybe Chad will have to purchase a second set of luggage and two toothbrushes. I like stories but they usually put me.....ZZZZzzzzzz

I think they should owe you a free flight...or at least some peanuts or something.

Oh the joys of traveling!!!!! Gotta love it huh Chad? I think it is a SIGN, that your supposed to come back to work for Novell, so you can live in Provo and look for a honey, rather than live in airports and look for your luggage. (I might also add, a honey is alot more fun to find than your luggage is!)
