Brigham got the vacation time he requested! With a good bit of effort on his part, he has secured Aug. 10-16th off! Our plan is not solid, but I think we'll be arriving at Gronemans' sometime on the 10th and staying Sat. and Sun. and driving up to Bear Lake on Monday. Then we'd be driving back on the 16th and staying the night at Gronemans', and driving home on the 17th. It's not a lot of time, but it's what we can do, so we'll make the most of it! We hope that the Nelsons can be there Friday through Monday!

Party on! Come with some ideas that you would like to do while your here..so you all don't go berzerk. Of course there is ATV riding...but that only takes 3 people out at a time, so if you want to do things TOGETHER, that doesn't fill the bill. With it being hot and muggy...maybe a waterpark for a few hours... anyway. You guys know what you'd like to do and fill up your day with, so come with some ideas. Brett and Chad, I hope you can join us for some family fun on at least a couple of the days that Nelsons and Dastrups will be here. I feel a croquet tournament coming on!

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." Craig- "So do the Baptists, Catholics, and Mormons..... so what is special about your church" JW's- "we belive in Jesus Christ" Craig- "so do all of the Christians.... potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
