By the way, happy anniversary to Chad and Erica yesterday! Looking at your post, it looks like it was a really romantic one. I hope you guys were able to do something to celebrate-- the first anniversary is a big deal! I really hope that you weren't so tired that you didn't even remember!

We did manage to remember that it was our anniversary. We celebrated by having some blueberry muffins. We decided to postpone any other celebration for a few months.

A month or two ago, Chad got me Wicked tickets (coming to Salt Lake in April), so we've been planning on officially celebrating our anniversary in April.

I did manage to wake up from a nap to eat a romantic dinner with Chad (with muffins for dessert, as he said). :) Our first anniversary was great. I'm impressed you remembered! :)

Yes, and Chad, BTW, most men do feel neglected a bit by their wife spending so much of their time with the baby. Hang in there, this too, shall pass! :)

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
