She got a new microwave oven for her birthday.....it's what she wanted. HOPEFULLY some kids will come over for dinner tonight. I'm cooking steaks and hamburgers and it would be a shame for just yer mom, Grandpa, and me to eat it alone.

Chad, Brett, and Buff all came over...and Grandpa G of course. Since it was mom's birthday, she decided she wanted to play [shock] Settlers. We got about half way through the game when G&G H showed up with the Webers so that ended that game. It's a good thing I guess. I was about to win as usual so It's good I didn't make everyone feel bad.

It was a wonderful day for me. I got to see 3 of my kids and talk to the other 2 plus Steve (who is taking very good care of Cambrie=Thanks STEVE!!) Brigham was at work, but sent his Hap. B. Via Christa. Ann and her 2 girls came by to wish me a HB and my mom and dad. It was fun to have them come, but also frustrating, because Chad and Brett disappeared after they arrived until it was time to go. So I lost as much as I gained! Next time guys, join us! THe Webers love you too!

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
