Word on the street says that there's going to be some things that go boom in the sky in Cedar Hills this Saturday. I for one am not planning on missing such an event. Mom just said that they're going to be gone, but for the rest of you Utah Valley residents (and even those of you who are not) you should come up to Mom n' Dad's house on Saturday evening to watch stuff blow up. I'm going to be bringing up a hand full of friends from here and we'll most likely be cooking bratwursts or hamburgers or something and watching stuff blow up. Hopefully "stuff" doesn't include the propane tank. If you bring lots of friends, bring your own stuff to cook up. Otherwise just tell me and I'll bring plenty for you too. Chances are, I'll have plenty anyway.

Be sure to lock the doors, turn out the lights, don't litter the lawn with beer cans, and have fun. I'm envious. I'll be in Jackson annoying yer mom's siblings to no end.

Actually, Kim promised to be good and not Bug anyone. This would be a first...too bad the rest of you can't come along to witness it. Brett, we still have croquet, but you might ought to invite Chad and have him bring his too, so there would be enough. Ours only has 5 mallets as you recall.

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
