WANTED: Your ideas

Erica and I have a bit of a predicament. It's our wedding photos. We didn't realize how dark it would be when we get out of the temple. We'll get out around 4, and only have about 15 minutes of poor lighting before everything will need a flash, if it's a clear sky (probably will need it for those 15 minutes too).

We could get up well before the crack of dawn so that Erica could get her hair done, then we could go get pictures taken at 9 AM, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a later wedding.

We could pay the photographer $200 more and have them come to the reception as well, and we could get all the family shots there.

Any other ideas?

I think some "dusk" pictures with the flash highlighting the bride with the lighted temple in the background would be kind of cool pics.

Could you move your luncheon a little earlier so that you had time to get your pictures taken before you get married?

Should I say it again, or did you get it the first two times? (whoops)

I would say have a friend or someone take them right before the wedding so you have some when it is light, and then do the dusky one's too (I agree with dad-- they might be cool to have the sunset in the background)

One more tidbit - there's new Temple rules such that Erica probably can't wear her wedding dress in the temple. Also, there's only an hour between the luncheon and when Erica and I are supposed to be in the temple.

The luncheon cannot be moved, but it should be done and over by 1:15, so why not do your wedding pictures before you go in?
