Hard

I've been listening to Lydia cry for the past hour in her bed. She misses her beloved paci. But for the past 5 minutes she's stopped crying and been yelling "Mama!" every 2 seconds over and over and over which is heart-breaking. I'm glad we had the paci, but it sure is hard to get rid of it!

I never had to do that. None of our kids were paciaholics. In fact, none even used one.

No fun at all! But its' probably best to be done with it now that she's in Nursery.

We were going to do that to Emmy last month, but I think it's Mommy that needs to get over the pacifier first. It's so much easier with it.

I'm sure we'll be trying again soon. But no fun. Not looking forward to it at all.

I recommend cutting it out in phases. Let them have it only at bedtime for a while, then cut a small hole in it, etc.

Oh, poor little Lydia! :(

She only has it at bedtime. She knows it stays in the crib. Then we'll start clipping it. That's what our doctor recommended too.
