Just something to get you excited about the upcoming Thanksgiving day holiday at the Groneman House.......... Oh...and I just have to say I beat Brett and Katie in 18 holes of golf yesterday. I was only a whole bunch over par. Brett was even more than that and Katie.....what can I say......she was a ridiculous amount over par. :)

Thanksgiving plans haven't changed. We're all going to Dastrup's for Christmas but Thanksgiving is here.

Katie and I were both under the impression for some reason that you were leaving for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We knew about the Christmas trip, and I remember a discussion about how upset we would/wouldn't be if y'all went to the Dastrups for Thanksgiving, and we told you we'd be OK with it and then a "Okay then, I guess we'll go" That was the very shortened version of the discussion anyway.

I didn't ask for it off of work, but fortunately, I'm not working then. We'll see what the plans were with Katie's family for that day.

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
