HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEETHEART!!

YESIRREEE! Only 1 more year until Kim can celebrate his official "Senior Citizen" status! He is already planning on celebrating that birthday by a shopping spree at Deseret Industries, where he will get everything on his Sr Citizen discount!!! The anticipation is intense! We are going to celebrate this occasion by going out to eat at Los Hermonos tonight and then tomorrow evening, the boys and their precious wives are going to join us (Emmy included of course) for dinner here. So we wish the rest of you could join us, but alas and alack, that is not to be. Oh well...

In other great anticipation events: Walmart in Cedar Hills has it's grand opening tomorrow!! I am curious to see just how much of an impact it has on our roads here. I think it could be really bad...but Kim worries that the location here won't give them enough business to stay in business...in which case it would be bad if they had to shut down. But I have been saving my purchases till it opens, just because Cedar Hills needs the taxes, so I plan on supporting it. I am sure you are all just anxiously awaiting my next report on the subject!

This Saturday, we are taking our travel trailer down to Marysvale where we are going to leave it (at our friends place in Bullion Canyon) through the summer and fall, so that when we want to go ATV riding, we have a place to stay the night without invading our friends space. They have 5 acres of land, next to the stream/river and it has big trees, so it should be nice. I expect that the summer will be too warm, but we do have a swamp cooler in the trailer and we will be hooked up to their power, so it will be a great cheap getaway for us. We are paying them $100.00 for the privilage. We are excited about that. There is SO much more to explore in Marysvale than there is in this area for ATV's.

BTW, thanks for the happy birthday blog. Marilyn gave me some PJ shorts, some Macadamia nut turtles, some socks, and some gum. That was sweet of her.
