Just when you thought the fun pictures from NM were done with....





We went "practice camping" in the backyard on friday night. It was a success and everyone had fun. The sprinklers came on, so it is a good thing I decided to put the umbrella on just as it was getting dark. We watched a movie in the tent and went to sleep. Kiera thought it was great...I guess we are ready for the real thing.

More fun pics & video...love it. I never thought of practice camping...glad it worked out..now you're ready!. That video is really cute. I can tell Lydia wants Ty to get up and play.

LOL!! I LOVE IT! She looks at Cambrie like, "What is wrong with this baby! Why won't he get up an play! I am ready!" Who says Ty won't have cousins to play with!!!
Practice camping eh? That's a new one. Course, if we had don't that before our first tent camping trip when Christa was a baby, there wouldn't have been a camping trip when Christa was a baby, nor a emergency pack up at 1 in the morning on the first real trip to head for home with a screaming baby either!

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
