I am feeling the need for more...

What are your thoughts on having Kim and Marilyn Family Sunday dinners here on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month? Would you like that or shall we just keep it on the 2nd Sunday?

I'd like Kim & Marilyn dinner every night. Please? I haven't saved any junk food coupons, I don't like McDonalds, and Subway would get old fast.

That doesn't work for us. I anticipate that it won't work for the others either. I'm at work so I don't have time to go into details, but I'll explain later.

For the next few months at least, Katie's parents are gone, but if there were two sides of the family to split between, and we were to do an even split, that would mean that almost every Sunday would be visiting someone. We like visiting, but I don't think that kind of schedule is sustainable with people's callings and work and just having a solo family Sunday once in a while -- but I'll let the group speak for themselves.

Of course, my complication is work and school, where I work about every other Sunday anyway, so we've just sort of dropped in on you whenever we can, whether or not it's any particular Sunday or any other day for that matter. That'll probably have to be the way it stays for now.

Fortunately, school is almost at an intermission (April), which should help. Pending unknown baby schedules, etc., I think Katie and I could do more mid-week stuff. Sunday will probably be about the worst day of the week for it because of church schedules and callings and all that.

What Brett said, but we do have two sides of the family very close by. We also have things that we need to do on Sundays occasionally, such as Home Teaching etc. And every once in a while, it's nice to stay home and rest.

Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
