If you think you have it bad

My colleagues over in the UK are paying $8.15/gallon for gasoline today.

And to be precice, they don't buy gallons, they buy liters. Even if they DID buy gallons, it would be Imperial gallons which are different than U.S. Gallons. Yes, the good ol' USA. Last country in the world to adapt the metric system. The only other two that haven't are Myanmar and Liberia and I'm sure they will before we do.
