The Dastrups would appreciate any prayers that you could send our way today. Brigham is currently in Philadelphia taking Step 2 part 1001 or whatever it is of the boards today. After today, he is DONE with everything here at Hopkins-- as long as he passes. So he could use some prayers-- especially because he didn't get much sleep last night due to a fiasco that we'll have to describe another time. Also, Jacob, who was completely healthy 2 days ago, might be in the hospital by tonight. He came down with Publisha cold yesterday, and today he's wheezing and having a lot of trouble breathing. I took him in this morning, and our pediatrician said that if it were anyone else, he would send them to the hospital. As it is, he put Jacob back on steroids, and if he's not improved by about 2 pm, we're headed down to Hopkins. So please pray that he will get better soon! Thanks! We appreciate your support!

Poor little Jacob. He doesn't deserve to be sick yet again. :-( Package up his cold and send it to Grandpa G. I'll take it for him. Breaks my heart. I have all the confidence in the world in Brigham. Keep us informed on Jacob and with how Brigham feels he did. When do you find out the results of these board exams?

Just a random thought...could Jacob pick up his bugs at whatever place you go to do these medical tests (allergy)?

Jacob didn't go with me to the allergy clinic. My guess is that he picked it up at the pediatrician's office when he went there on Tuesday to have some blood work done. Unfortunately, we can't keep him in a bubble.

Poor little Jacob. After reading that blog it makes anything I felt like putting on the blog seem unimportant.
I'm not worried about Brigham-- he'll pass with flying colors like always
You guys are in our prayers

Cambrie, it doesn't have to be important. It's just nice to hear everyone's experiences, no matter how insignificant.

Oh, I hate to hear that Jacob is struggling again. I have been there when he did that and the memory of it is seared in my brain forever! I will definitely pray for both of them. But Brigham will do great.

Ditto to what Kim said Cambrie. Helps me to feel not so far away to get little updates from you kids regularly! Keep em coming!
