Happy Mother's Day!!! We want to thank our wonderful Mom for all that she has done for each one of us. As the mother of only two, I have no idea how she did it with five. Good work, Mom! We're glad that you survived us! We would also like to recognize and honor Cambrie today. Becoming a mother was a lot harder for her than it is for most, and we want to acknowledge all the sacrifice that she has already made on Kiera's behalf. We hope that you had a special first Mother's Day!

Well said Christa. I couldn't have said it better myself (about Cambrie). I remember when I had 2 children, I thought the same thing about my mother. But it actually gets easier with more, as long as the kids are well behaved. The older kids become assets instead of high maintainence. You were good kids, so that made my life easier. So thanks yall.

Mother's day: We went to church then went to see Grandpa G. When we got home, Chad was here and Brett showed up soon afterward. Chad at 1/2 loaf of homemade bread while waiting for us. Yer mom made lasagna, brocoli, salad for all the extended family on her side (yea, all the kids & grandkids). Keith's fam didn't come but the rest did. All the Weber grandkids thought our backyard was their own private play ground. When Tanner got home, he told Carrie he thinks they should move here. Those kids had a ball rolling down the hill, playing in the playhouse, playing croquet, and throwing rocks in the stream.

Oh, yer mom got a nice necklace, a nice bracelet, a lantern hanger for her garden, and a refrigerator guard pig for mother's day.

Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.

potty training done

Kiera is 100% in "tinkling" in her potty for 5 days now (except at night). I'd say potty training is done. I do have to say though that the transition from little potty to big potty was difficult (it didn’t help that Lydia was sick either). She would tinkle a tiny bit and then ask to go again 5-10 mins later all day long! Finally I was trying to make dinner and after being interrupted twice by her asking me to go (meanwhile my sick little Lydia cries hard when I leave the room with Kiera and if I bring her with she rolls around our nasty bathroom floor). So she came up and asked again “tinkles, mommy!” So I broke down and busted out the little potty and put her in front of the TV on it. I then picked up Lydia and nursed the poor little thing to sleep. Kiera tinkled quite and bit and was quite pleased with her self and pulled out the tray beneath the potty that holds the tinkles before I could stop her (I don’t run very fast when I’m holding a sleeping baby).
