Dad-- you should go to sitemeter.com and put a meter on this blog. I'd be very curious to know how many people outside our family are on this site. I put one on my blog with my friends, and it is very interesting-- it tells you where people find your page, how long they spend on it, what they look at, what time they are on, the time zone they live in, etc. My friend told me about it-- she put one on her family page and had some creepy finds. I'm not advocating that we go private (yet) but we may want to later.
Those poor Jehovah’s witnesses showed up at the door here again . They come here every few months or so. They rang the doorbell and my father-in-law (Craig) answered it. They asked if he'd like to talk about religion and he invited them in and said he'd love to. To make a long story short, he asked what makes the Jehovah's Whitnesses special and what was their "compelling doctrine". Their response was "well, we read the bible." Craig- "So do the Baptists, Catholics, and Mormons..... so what is special about your church" JW's- "we belive in Jesus Christ" Craig- "so do all of the Christians.... " JW's- "We preach the gospel" Craig- "Um... that still isn't original. Tell me why I should listen to you over anyone else" JW's- "Umm... I don't know..."
