2007-05-PaiuteTrail
Here are some pictures of our trip down to Marysvale and riding the Paiute Trail for 3 days. The Paiute Trail is an interconnecting system of trails that cover a lot of central/southern Utah and it's rated as one of the top trails in the nation for ATVs. The annual ATV convention is held here every year. I can see why. Click on the picture above to see the entire album and be prepared to be jealous.

Looks like a beautiful area. Pretty waterfalls. The view from the one cabin was amazing. I'd love to look out my living room window and see that.

I'm surprised they have cabins that are somewhat maintained enough for people to go in.

So dad . . .

Look Familiar?

You should have gone to see those Indian wall writings we saw on our trip. They're down there too.

One of our choices on the ride was to ride over to the Indian museum. We were just too busy going other places. Maybe on our next trip down there. Wanna go with me?

Oh yea...and I thought I had seen pictures of that mine park before. :-) That's just up the road a mile or so from my friend's house.

You took a lot of pictures! Yup, that was the same area we went to on our trip. I would go with you pa but alas, I cannot for I am in sunny california....even if it isn't so sunny right now. Mom it looks like you've lost some weight. Kudos.

nice pictures-- but are there not such trails in the mountains closer to home?

looks like fun

The reality of it is no, there are not such trails around here. Most of the mountains around here are taken up by fancy cabin subdivisions and ski resorts and the like. There are a few trails, but nothing like down there. You have to go to Reservation Ridge to get some good trails around here, and the reality is they're not as nice.

Thanks, BUFF!
Kim is addicted. We did find out that our Kawasaki 250 is too small for Kim. We are considering buying a bigger automatic transmission. If we don't we will burn the one we've got up pretty fast. And if we do, we may just keep the smaller one, so we can take our kid...but that might be a problem, cause we would need a bigger trailer to haul 3....are the kids even interested in going with us is the question?
