"If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win…."

I wish Romney would have won. But, you have to respect him and his reasons for dropping out.

I respect Romney so much. He's been in this for our country from the beginning, and this just shows it. I'd have to say I agree with him that having Obama or Clinton in the white house would be a real disaster for our country, perhaps worse than McCain. Even though I can't stand to even look at McCain, I think I'll be forced to support him so we don't give up any more liberal seats on the supreme court. That is really important to me.

Romney, you've got my 100% support in 2012!!!!!

It's sad that for the past few presidential elections I haven't been able to vote "for" someone. I've had to vote against someone. I really would like to for for someone again. Not this time it looks like.

they were discussing it on the news this morning and one of the people they were discussing it with thinks that Romney is going to be the next ronald reagan in the sense that, he didn't win this time, but he will in another 4 years...I really hope so.

That could be. McCain would be too old and people would be sick of the Democrats by then.

I don't think it's going to happen in 2012. I don't think evangelicals will support him, otherwise he would have done better this time. They'd rather vote for a not-so-conservative than for a Mormon.
