So there I was a couple of days ago, getting home from work. I went into my bedroom and saw a little orange paper on my bed telling me that I had a package in the office. I picked up a box from the Nelson residence, filled with stickers, candy, a mostly empty bag of cookie crisp, a ziplock bag of trix (Not trix, but something similar), a 2003 BYU magnetic football schedule, a magnetic old institute schedule, a brand-new hand mixer, some mixes, two water guns, a water/air/oil spinny-wheel-toy-thing from our childhood, and many other various items that likely have been hanging around with Cambrie for who knows how long.

To the party responsible, that was a lot of fun. Thanks for the trinkets and the laugh, and the use of two totally awesome new water pistols.

Sounds like enough stuff for you to make a fortune on eBay! What kind of mixes?...Poppy seed muffins? Mmmmm.

I seem to remember someone sending me a similar package when I was at Ricks college.... come to think of it, the only care package (from friends or family) I've EVER recieved was from bert. What goes around comes around

EVER?? Are you sure about that, CAN? It was probably the only one you got in college, but we sent you one within the last year. It probably wasn't as cool as Brett's, but it should still count!

and here I thought Cambrie was so firey independant that she would scoff at such receivings! And really, the only strong attempts I made at such care packages was to CK in Boliva. If you make cookies, they are stale by the time the reciever gets them, and if your buying them at the store, and there is a store where the kid is too, then why bother? I do remember giving Cambrie $100.00 to just go have fun with her roomates(not to be used for any other purpose) with while she was at Rexburg. That doesn't count?

I'm talking about a box you get to open with fun stuff in it that came in the mail with no purpose other than for your un-birthday. THAT is a care package. Other things are nice, but they don't qualify as care packages.
