Cedar Hills Town Meeting

Geez... If I had known that the Cedar Hills town meetings were this comical, I'd probably go watch!

Yikes! If I was a Cedar Hills resident, I think I would be a little nervous of what the city council members would do next or what they were doing without the public's awareness. Seems pretty shady to me.

That is pretty bad I'd say. The mayor has issues. He's dug himself a large pit

You folks need to hear it from the council's point of view. This reporter IS terribly biased in his reporting and twisted the truth to make headlines. Yes, they council members called the public hearing on changing the law...that's because they couldn't legally talk about the law at all without it being in a public hearing! Yes, the council woman said the public just doesn't understand...but the reporter just happened to leave out the rest of the sentance that she said "in a single paragraph in the city paper". Ken Kirk is a good friend and he tells me what goes on in the meetings and how this reporter takes partial truths and prints them for dramatic effect. The guy seems to be a jerk. I agree that the citizens shouldn' rely on this reporter for goings on in the city.

Also, as for the Mayor ordering the sherrif to remove Cromar from the meeting...that's because the public are allowed 3 minutes each for comments. Cromar went on and on (taking other people's time) and when asked by the council to stop talking, he wouldn't stop. Allowing one person to take over the meeting isn't an option and he was warned. As you can see, the reporter didn't mention this part of it at all.
