Enid Green Raises an Alarm.
Enid Green, former U.S. House of Representativesfrom Utah's 2nd district, now she has her own show on KSL radio I was listening to yesterday. She was quoting from an article she had read (and there were several sources reporting the same thing) that I find VERY ALARMING!
She said that With this new Health Care proposal put out by Obama, that people who have studied the proposal and choose to oppose any part of it, will be "locked out of the decision making process so as not to impede it's passing".
Lets see! WHERE ARE WE???? RUSSIA???
Last I knew, our government elected officals had a right to oppose (and obligation to do so) any proposed legislation that would be detrimental to our country! Since when did we give the administration power to shove WHATEVER they want down our throats without an intelligent discussion on the subject, and in spite of what everyone else may think?
This health care change OBama wants will cost the govt over a trillion dollars, will not cover all Americans health care, who are not currently covered, only 10 million more. Obama will not even consider a possible way of helping the current system but putting in legistation to limit how much a Dr. can be sued for (because his biggest contributions to his campaign came from trial lawyers). Dr's order WAY more tests than they think are necessary just to protect themselves from any potential lawsuit against them. Many large places in America don't even have Obstatricians because the lawsuit have gotten so out of control, they can't afford the mal-practice lawsuit insurance!
Enid also told of a recent lawsuit in California: A woman was sueing the maker of "Captain Crunch" because she thought that the crunch-berries were real fruit and that she would be getting a healthy meal! PLLLLLEEEEEEAAASSSSEEEEEEE!
More and more I am just ALARMED at the rapid down-hill slide our country is taking. Never have I felt like our freedom was so at risk!

I'm very worried about our country too. For goodness sakes, we don't even the crunch berries aren't real. What kind of a country would allow such a thing? In all seriousness, I am worried, but I try to be optimistic. The media is still in love with the Obamas, but the people I know that voted for Obama are starting to have issues with what he is and is not doing. I hope that the next 3.5 years can go by without too much damage being done, and then someone can hopefully repair it.
