Marilyn wanted me to post this video. I've seen this on the news, on the internet and many people are talking about it. It makes me sad that this has happened actually. If this woman was young and pretty, nobody would be talking about it. Yes, it was a great performance but there are many, many great performers out there that don't get this type of attention. Why? Because people took one look at her and set their expectations before hearing her. That's sad. Good for her though. Good for her.

It makes me wonder what will become of her now? She could become a recording artist, but as brainwashed as people are about a persons looks, I wonder if she could ever do concerts??

If Elton John or Paul Williams can do concerts, so can she if she's good enough. As you can see in that video, her outward appearance only mattered to people until she opened her mouth.
