Every evening I check on the boys before going to bed to make sure that everything is okay-- that they are in bed, under the covers, etc. Jacob likes to make sure that I have a reason for checking on him. Many times his fat little legs are squished through the bars all the way up to his thighs, making it difficult to get them back through without greasing them first. One night this week I found the board book I'd put him down with missing a big chunk-- gnawed through by a giant rodent. Last night when I went to check on him, I found him semi-nude. Somehow he managed to get his shirt off all by himself! Benjamin only mastered that skill in the last 3 months, and still struggles with it occasionally! I'm glad he makes sure I'm not wasting my time to check on him every night!
Deathly Hallows A box came in the mail on Saturday...it contained TWO copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . One for me (happy birthday me from Chad) and one for Chad. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. Do YOU have your copy?!? It's also officially my most hated time of year. Camping is over and it's HOT and even in the evenings it doesn't cool down much below 70 degrees. I can't wait for October, the best month of the year.
