So Kiera normally wakes up at 7am, is awake for 2 hours and then has a nap at 9am. The only way we know she is awake is by peaking in on her as she never cries or makes any noise. We usually find her sitting up staring at the door waiting for it to open.

Every saturday morning I go running at 7am with some of the girls in my ward. This morning I peaked in on Kiera just before I left and saw her starting to wiggle. I woke Steve up and told him that Kiera was almost awake. Then I left to go running. I came back at 8:40 (almost 2 hours later) to find steve aleep and Kiera sitting in her bed looking very sad but quiet nevertheless. My poor sweet baby girl! She had sat there quietly for nearly 2 hours waiting for someone to pick her up (all while being very hungry and having a wet/messy diaper). Needless to say, we didn't make her take her morning nap 20 minutes later. I have such a sweet little lady!!! Next time I'm going to set steve's alarm clock.......and mine.
