WE DID IT!!!
I'm very pleased to announce the successful completion of the Baltimore Marathon by the eldest Groneman child and her humble sidekick. We came in after 4 hours and 10 minutes of running through 26.2 miles of the streets of Baltimore including a loop around Fort McHenry (remember the national anthem?).
Christa ran incredibly strong the whole time and looked very athletic, powerful, gorgeous and graceful throughout. Brigham finished.

I'm seriously impressed that you ran a marathon. That's an awful lot of running. About 4 hours and 10 minutes worth. You could have watched the Extended version of a Lord of the Rings movie, or sat though all your church meetings & more in that time. Those are hard to SIT through. I don't want to think about running that long.
Seriously, you guys are awesome. I think I might try to take on a half marathon sometime.... it seems like a challenge but yet not suicide. I'll leave the marathons for you!!!
